The Mesh follows a single long-range missile from launch to intercept, tracked entirely from low Earth orbit. An infrared sensor satellite keeps the missile in view after burnout and passes the track by laser through a network of relay satellites until it reaches a naval air-defense group, which launches a hit-to-kill interceptor.

A system like this is hard to show because its satellites sit thousands of kilometers apart and the laser links between them are invisible. We built the film around one problem, that the satellite tracking the missile and the ships that can stop it are on opposite sides of the planet, and let each laser hand-off close that distance before pulling back to show the full chain across the globe. Everything stays at real orbital scale and lighting, so Earth reads as a horizon and a second satellite reads as a dot, while the links appear as a single consistent graphic overlay.
